Realignment Therapy FAQs

You may experience the benefits of the treatment without believing in its underlying philosophy. However, it’s probably best if you decide to enter into the treatment with an open mind so you will be open to the possible long-term benefits after treatment.

Realignment Therapy FAQs

Realignment Therapy is frequently an emotional journey where clients dig deep and discover a lot about themselves, with rewarding results. I will have a long consultation with you prior to treatment, which will enable me to determine what the best way for you to move forward is. Trust that your body knows exactly what you need as every time towards  the end of each treatment, and while you are in the hypnotic state, I ask how many days your body needs to adjust to the changes and anything else you need. This means that we go according to your limits by nurturing yourself in each step.

Realignment Therapy FAQs

“Comparison is the thief of joy.” Theodore Roosevelt

All therapeutic systems have been created by (usually) charismatic and inspirational teachers, mainly through spiritual inner guidance and hard work. Most systems are like the rays of a sun that are all connected with the main source of light. This shows that comparison between the systems is unnecessary. They are all part of the one. The only reason I state the differences between Realignment Therapy and other techniques is just for the sake of our mind and to understand the stages of our evolution!

Like art, therapy is constantly evolving. Every system that is born is created according to the needs of each era. This is why direct comparison may be inappropriate, as the needs are completely different in each era, even though we have some basic foundations that we can refer to. Without those solid roots of ancient wisdom we wouldn’t be able to build something new and evolve gradually.

Realignment Therapy FAQs

“Man is a meeting of the earth and the sky, the body and the soul.” Osho

In order for someone to understand what Realignment Therapy is and why it is different, it is helpful to understand its origins and basis.

I have great respect to the teachers I have met throughout the years that inspired me and guided me to know and heal myself on various occasions. Without them I wouldn’t be able to see beyond the surface.

My teachers have been people that pushed my limits or people who supported me unconditionally with their love and also my spirit guides in all the dimensions of our presence in this world.

Energy Healing – Meditation

“If you try to calm the mind, it only makes it worse, but over time it does get calm, and when it does, there is room to hear more subtle things. That is when your intuition starts to blossom and you start to see things more clearly and be in the present more. Your mind just slows down, and you see a tremendous expanse in the moment. You see so much more than you could see before. It is a discipline, you have to practice it.” Steve Job

Energy healing and meditation are reminders that we are more than the physical body. We are wonderful beings that have a soul that needs to be nurtured.

Energy healing and meditation provide the gateway to our natural state, which is the one of stillness and bliss in the present moment, even if stress and our daily routine make it difficult for us to believe so. With long practice, the individual learns how to relax and to let go. Energy healing helps not only the body but also the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of our being. It also promotes the body’s own regenerative self-healing ability.

In most traditional energy healing techniques the healer becomes the conduit of this healing energy and gives it to the client or the environment around them without the use of their voice. This energy can be used to help treat physical ailments without using pressure, manipulation or massage, though it can easily be combined with these. In more ‘new age’ techniques the therapist does guided meditations so that the client can visualise while receiving this beautiful healing energy.

Hypnosis

“Through mental training you can increase positive thoughts and can reduce negative thoughts. I can tell you, with conviction; through effort we can change our mental attitudes.” Dalai Lama

A hypnotic state is when we reach before we sleep, a “trance-like state”; when our brain reaches deep relaxation and is open to positive repetitive suggestions. We also experience this state every time we daydream, when we are absorbed by a book or a movie we really like or similar. and

This is where a person can experience the power of guidance with the use of the hypnotherapist’s voice (sound). In traditional energy healing techniques, the main concern (for most healers) is for the client to feel and have the experience they need in that moment without necessarily being fully cognisant of the precise nature of the therapy techniques and how they work. In hypnosis while in a state of deep relaxation, you learn how to focus and to be present without letting external (or internal) distractions interfere.

With the help of a trained professional, we can all develop innate, individual abilities that enable us to make possible any desired changes in our thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

Regression Therapy

“Maybe you are searching among the branches, for what appears only in the roots.” Rumi

Regression therapy is when through hypnosis and under the expert care of our hypnotherapist, we are brought back or ‘regressed’ to the source of the issue we want to overcome. The source might occur in an earlier stage of our life where an emotional reaction to an event or behaviour may have entered our sub-conscious. This may have happened in youth, childhood, infancy, the womb, in a past life or even in the spirit world between our incarnations. Through discovery of such past events and our emotional reactions to them, we are able to address our own current negative reactions, patterns or behaviours to similar situations in our present life on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level.

After regression therapy was discovered in the beginning of the fifties in California, gradually it gained the interest of psychotherapists and psychiatrists as they began to offer a rapid method of treating symptoms and blockages that previously needed many months or even years of therapy. Depending on the way a practitioner has been trained, some approaches use specific body work in order to release the body memories by allowing the person to re-experience their past traumatic memories. Through intense body movement like punching or kicking they release those suppressed emotions and memories.

Why Are There Different Types of Regression Therapy?

Many people’s understanding of ‘regression therapy’ is that it relates to ‘past life’ regression and that the therapist will take them back, under hypnosis, to a past life. This is only partly true, as there are additional forms of regression therapy, including current life regression, inner child healing regression and spiritual life-between-life regression.

All these forms of regression are valuable tools that help us to be taken back to a time when we are able to identify the source of our problems and from there to begin the process of healing. Sometimes a combination of these different therapies may be used or other times perhaps just one. The therapist will decide which ones are the most appropriate based on when the issue arose in the past and the complexity, emotionally and otherwise, of the problem.

Current Life Regression

For many patients, their problems or issues have arisen in their adult life – perhaps due to recent traumatic events, the pressures of work, relationships and coping with all that life throws at them.  In current life regression, the therapist induces the patient into a relaxed state and gets them to focus on the issue and any emotional baggage they may be carrying in relation to it. If necessary, they can be helped to uncover memories that have been suppressed or forgotten. Once these memories and emotions have been brought out under the guidance of the therapist, the patient can develop a deeper level of understanding of the issue and begin walking along the path towards healing.

Past Life Regression

Past life regression begins from the premise that our souls have been re-incarnated over different lifetimes as a way of evolving towards a higher state of understanding. Difficult issues or unfinished business from a past life may intrude into our present one and cause problems. Past life regression enables patients to visit a selected past life where they can discover how it is connected with their current life through the issue they want to work on. With this greater awareness, the patient can let go of the difficult feelings or emotions that have arisen, in what can often be a life-changing experience.

Inner Child Healing Regression

For many patients, their issue may be rooted in childhood and it may have arisen from feelings of hurt, rejection, anger or trauma during their formative years. Our relationship with our parents and siblings has played a significant role in our life consciously or unconsciously.  As adults, we all carry our “inner child” with us and this often colours our reactions to life events and relationships. Through Inner Child Healing Regression, the therapist works with the ‘inner child’ to heal the wounds and help it feel safe. The patient is guided to connect their present self with the transformed and healed inner child in order to integrate all the changes in the present. The patient will be ready to have a new approach to life being free from old habits or emotions.

Spiritual Life Between Life Regression – LBL

If we accept that our souls have been re-incarnated in different bodies, it’s not difficult to understand that these souls have had a spiritual existence.  Using deep hypnosis, the therapist guides the client to their soul’s journey after their last incarnation until their current life. By exploring this unique experience the client answers big questions they face in life. They are helped to explore the reasons they may have been put on this world, what they have to learn and what their future choices in life might be. This deep understanding enables the client to understand the influences that have shaped their lives and to gain clarity on their purpose in life.

Accompaniment of Somatic-Psycho education (Fascia therapy)

“The physical body is the entrance to the entire universe, as every single cell has access to our psyche.” Maria Maraveli

Dr. Danis Bois (Ed.D) is an osteopath and physiotherapist who began developing the Danis Bois Method, known as Somatic-Psycho education, over 30 years ago in France.

Somatic-psycho education consists of the words:

  • Somatic: A body that is alive and we are able to listen.
  • Somatic-Psycho: The connection between the body and our temperament. How our body is giving us the information that is holding and how our thoughts have impact on or body.
  • Somatic-Psycho education: it is an educational method, in order for us to become present and learn in the here and now according to our physical body.

This is a method that enhances the awareness and perception of the body in order for us to transform our relationship to pain, stress and tension.

There are four ways to enhance and bring this awareness:

  1. A gentle, non-manipulative therapy (fully clothed), called fascia therapy.
  2. A somatic movement practice, called Sensorial Re-education.
  3. A meditation practice, called Sensorial Introspection.
  4. A therapeutic conversation that accompanies all the above.

The deeper connection with the physical body then reveals a slow, autonomous “inner movement” that rebalances every system in the body.

This inner movement is shown gently by our fascia, which is a connective tissue woven through our entire body, comprising 98% of it. Science has discovered that fascia is important for our physiological and physical functioning. It affects the degree of muscle tension and movement, the blood circulation, the hormonal balance, the stress system, our mood (emotional, mental reactions and processes) and, as a natural result, our behaviour.

The practitioner will not move the fascia without sensing the inner movement in the area, as the key is to create an inner dialogue with the tissues of the body. When gradually we are trained through guidance to observe and own our body and to feel our biomechanical activity, we bring effortless motility. We begin to glide through movement, rather than using just our muscles. We learn how to be movement, rather than doing movement.

Realignment Therapy FAQs

“In order to change our environment, we need to change from within as our inner world is an expansion in the outer world.”

M. M.

Before the initial session, I will ask you to complete a confidential questionnaire and return this to me on the day of our appointment.

The initial Realignment Therapy session lasts 1.5 hours, when a full consultation is undertaken. We talk in detail about the questionnaire and your issues and goals for the therapy. This is when the best way forward will be identified every person is different and the Realignment Therapy is adjusted to their current needs. Any questions or concerns you have about the therapy can be raised before you relax into the treatment.

The Realignment Therapy is a journey that needs commitment but step by step, you can reach your goals.

The first part of the Realignment therapy is to be trained in how to ground and raise your vibration through the physical body. This is an important tool for everyone to have as this is how   the individual can hold the space for themselves in between the sessions.

Through an attunement with the crystal core of the earth, the realignment of your Soul Star and Earth Star and the realignment of your Higher Selves through your physical body, you bring so much light and presence into your system that you can let go easily of anything external that does not belong to you.

Proper energy management involves:

  • Realigning your system and raising your vibration
  • Grounding through the crystal core of the earth
  • Bringing your energy back from people, situations and places
  • Releasing other people’s energies connected with us (chords)
  • Releasing attachments
  • Having a strong protection through our Golden Self

The second part is to work on the Karmic Lists, which are the lessons we have to learn in this life that have to do with the challenges and the issues  or blockages we are facing. By using Regression, I will guide you to identify those lessons and to bring your energy back in the present moment, so that you can heal yourself from the past.

In each session you will lie comfortably on a couch and will gradually reach a deep state of relaxation by listening to the guidance of my voice. It is a gradual process and everyone is able to reach this state of deep relaxation, if they allow themselves. With your permission I place my hands on your body in order to work on your physical body through the fascia and on your energy field.

After the session is complete, you will be given guidance and tasks to do at home so you can continue working on some of the issues you are seeking to resolve. This will enable you to progress as quickly as possible towards your treatment goals and practice will help speed up this process for you in between the sessions.

All subsequent sessions will last from 1 hour up to 2 hours and payment must be made in advance of each treatment, after receiving an invoice from me.

After treatment

There are no side effects to the treatment and virtually all those who have received it report it as being a pleasant, relaxing experience.

You may begin to experience some of the benefits of the treatment. Your body may begin to expel toxins. A runny nose or having a little cold is one of the symptoms. Emotions need to emerge in order to be able to leave. Just observe them and make an intention for them to be released gradually. Anger may come on the surface, even sadness and physically you might feel tired. However it is just part of the process as it is a great opportunity to get rid of what you no longer need.

Many people may experience an increased sensitivity to their own energy and that of others. They may also notice changes such as growing self-confidence and trust in life; the resurfacing of unresolved problems to be solved now in the light of the new energy available; a greater sense of responsibility and focus on what you want in life.

In order to have a healthy body we have to heal our mind and spirit.

Otherwise, illness may return even stronger.
